The stories are in no particular order, so no clues there. Please feel free to make comments, pick your favourite, argue with the judges.<\/p>\n

Corny to say it, but my goodness there is some great talent out there! If YOUR story wasn’t chosen, it wasn’t because it was no good I promise. The entries were all of a high standard.<\/p>\n

The only thing that upset me was when a story with title wasn’t exactly 100 words – however good it was, it couldn’t be awarded the \u00a3100 prize if it didn’t conform to this rule.<\/p>\n

What is a MegaSaga?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A MegaSaga is a Short Story. Big Deal. No, Small Deal because the story has to be EXACTLY 100 words – including the title. (A mini Saga is 50 words. But this is MEGA!)<\/p>\n

The story has to be engaging, astonishing, maybe shocking. Or at least wildly hilarious – without itself being a mere joke. It must be in English, entirely original<\/strong> and (preferably) not graphically sexual.<\/em><\/p>\n

The FIRST competition is FREE TO ENTER<\/strong><\/p>\n

RULES<\/p>\n

Stories must be emailed to jonelkon3@gmail.com with the subject MegaSaga Competition Entry. Shortlisted authors will be informed\u00a0by 1st April.<\/em><\/p>\n

the longlisted stories are in the “Comments Section” below. The comments each receives will help determine the final winner, but will not be the sole deciding factor! After all, we can all muster a like or (maybe) 20,000 likes. The SHORTLIST will be here on 15th April, and my panel of \u00a0readers will make the final decision by April 30th. The winning story will appear on this website, with a profile of the author and plaudits galore. And the \u00a3100 will be on its way to the winner.<\/p>\n
